Adult Ministries

First Presbyterian Church offers a variety of small groups for adults, including Sunday School classes, choirs, or service opportunities in our community.  Here are some more!  Take a look and see if one of these is right for you!

Families With Young Children

Our families with young children gather regularly for fellowship events. Some involve the kids, and some are just for parents (in which case child care is provided).  Click here for photos of recent events. Watch for upcoming events on our home page or Facebook page.

Presbyterian Women- Circles

We have several active women's circles who meet monthly for Bible study, fellowship and prayer. Our Presbyterian Women council also plans church-wide events and encourages participation in regional and national Presbyterian Women events.  For more information, contact Connie Weaver at connie@fpcasheboro.org.

A.C.T.S.S.

(Active Couples Thriving to Support and Serve) This fellowship group of "older young adults" gathers several times a year.  For more information, contact the church office at (336) 625-3227.

Fellowship Dinners

Groups of 8 adults meet monthly for dinners in homes, September through May.  Sign-ups for these fellowship dinner groups occur twice a year.  For more information, contact Connie Weaver at connie@fpcasheboro.org.

Boomers & Beyond

This group gathers for lunch and a program the third Thursday of the month at 12:15 p.m., from September through May. All aged 55+ are welcome to join us in the Large Fellowship Hall.  Reservations are not necessary.

R.O.M.E.O.s

(Retired Old Men Eating Out): This men’s group meets at 7:00 am in Asheboro every Monday to discuss the events of the world and to swap stories.  Location varies and is listed in the Sunday bulletin.
